I love this sweater skirt. It is one of the only ones I own and I honestly dont wear it enough! I gotta get some more before this winter is over!! It’s the perfect weather to wear them too, when its super frigid paired with some sweater tights, these skirts are mega warm and cozy! oh how I love flannel, the more ragged and worn the better! Tis the season for flannel and I’m taking advatage of it as much as I can! This sweater is what I believe to be a fabulous thrift find :) I found it this summer actually at my favorite thrift store and have been DYING to wear it! I put it away so as not to tempt myself, and have finally pulled it out…so exciting :) Leggings are probably the best invention EVER, I just love them. So comfy (I’m not a big fan of jeans, I just hate to be uncomfy) and stylin’… I love to pair them with a big sweater. In this outfit, it wasn’t cold enough outside to wear a big sweater, so I wore a thin [...] I’m playing catch up with all my blog posting! I can’t begin to explain why I haven’t been keeping up with my blogging responsibilities, but I’m back in gear baby! this blazer was picked up at a thrift store near my little sister’s house one saturday morning while thrifting. She wants to be a little Asain [...] I found this splendid little hand knit top at a thrift store (shocker) that I regularly attend. Its super soft and seems so delicate. There’s no tag on it, that’s how I figure it’s handmade. These earrings are from Forever 21, another shocker I know :) grace. peace. and love love love! -curls I do apologize, it has been ridiculously long since I’ve posted, and it’s not like I have the excuse of “I’m in a different country”! I have no excuse, SO SORRY! But good news, FALL IS HEEEEEERE!!! I’m a girl that loves her 4 seasons. I’m just SO EXCITED for fall and I used the dress in a fall outfit, so I had to share! The boots are a recent purchase that I have been wanting for SO LONG! I made it a point that for the fall [...] Today was another gloomy day. I figured I would brighten up somebody’s day, if not just my own, with my bright orange pants (I refuse to call them ‘capris’ merely for the fact that I don’t like that word, so ‘pants’ it is!). They were an accidental find at my favorite thrift store one day [...] Today was beautiful! Attended worship service at National Community Church, met up with my little sister Gaby for lunch at Chipotle, then we headed over to Occoquan River for a lil’ walk around and photo shoot. We always have so much fun together :) Note: lace top! So appropriate for Grace & Lace. The ring is another one [...] (pardon the scowl…the sun was in my eyes) I’m in love with this top, I found it recently at the thrift store. And do you know when you have found a truly vintage and mostly old-lady find? When your grandmother comes up to you and says: “I have a shirt just like that!”, like mine did [...] That’s what this post will be! The weather is SO BEAUTIFUL! Not too hot, not too cold, just right for skirts and blouses. A little chilly in the shade, but that’s when you pull out a trusty sweater for extra cuteness and added comfiness. I love this weather… I can smell the fall coming! With that [...] I know, I know, it’s technically still summer, but I couldn’t help but wear this flannel shirt! I got it this summer from a friend of mine and I’ve been dying to wear it. Today it was pretty chilly out, not to mention it was the day after I wasn’t feeling so great so I [...] So today, if you read my Facebook status at all, I was nothing but achy achy. Needless to say, I wasn’t trying my absolute hardest to make myself look cute; I was headed more towards comfortable. I chose a simple blue button down dress that I got at the thrift store and it’s actually from [...] So tonight I FINALLY got to hang out with two girlfriends I haven’t seen in FOREVS…I’ve missed them SO MUCH! We met up in the City and had some yummy Panera. Such a great time catching up…it was well needed! I worked all day and had class till 10pm….needless to say I’m EXHAUSTED, so this is going to be short and sweet. In honor of my first day of class, I wanted to do back to school photos. But it was early, [...] Simplicity is something that I love. Subtlety is what I desire to have in most outfits. The subtle accesories are the ones that can stand out the most. Oximoron? Perhaps.
