let the layering {begin}

here in VA, the weather was just GORGEOUS today! I leave my house early so I bundled up against the frigid morning air, but by afternoon the sun was out and the wind was blowing, it was a beautiful 68 or 70 degrees today. I can’t get over my love for fall!

Layers and layers and layers of clothes! ok not so much today, but I had some layers going!

The scarf is actually another one of my aunties, she just has the BEST collection of scarves/shawls. They really are just so beautiful and unique. I can’t get enough of them when the cold months make their way around agan. The jeans are actually brand new, I bought them at Forever 21 yesterday. I usually only go there for jewelry but I strayed from that section and moved onto the clothes! They’re actually stretchy jeans with an elastic waiste! I am a HUUUUUGE fan of leggings, since I just can’t stand the stiffness and restrictions of jeans. I’m not trying to do summersaults or anything in them, I just like to be comfy, and leggings are so comfy! But I have this thing about wearing a short shirt with leggings, I feel almost naked, like my butt needs to be covered. Ha. But with THESE, they still have the back pockets like jeans do so I don’t feel so exposed. And they still look and feel like jeans. Genius!

gnlpost10.1.09cAs I said before,  I made my way over to Forever 21 last night and got like 4 pairs of earrings. I love their jewelry selection! Here’s the pair I sported today, in honor of the fall season, they have leaves!

well ladies (and any fashionable gentlemen who read our blog) I’m getting ready to watching some Friends – best show ever – and maybe some design stuff. I FINALLY finished the three day project of switching out my summer clothes for my fall/winter ones. Such a big task, but glad its done. I now get to look at all my pretty sweaters and jackets :)

until next time loves!
