This weekend I went to Old Town Alexandria with the fam. There are TONS of cute little boutiques, antique stores and restaurants- great atmosphere.
I checked out the Torpedo Factory (I have been wanting to go for a while). It’s an art center, with four levels and many different galleries for artists to show their work. Back in the day, this is where they made torpedoes for the Navy .
The man playing the “glasses” below made me think of Miss Congeniality. ha. Random, but he was SOOOOOO great.

Check out the HUGE paper mache giraffe, rino & elephant! So cool & cute! It was made by hundreds of children at an Art camp.

There is a mini-story behind this first pic. So, I was in the beautiful (fufu) boutique. There was this HUGE gorgeous vintage mirror, so “snap” I got a couple pics. Within a minute the owner of the store was “nonchalantly” upstairs to chat. I think he thought I was ripping off his designs. He does a fabulous job and his concern was legit. ha. but no, I was just takin a pic for the blog. haha.

Summer is not complete with a little ice cream…pecan cream yogurt! Yummy!
Much Love! Grace & Peace!
