I do apologize, it has been ridiculously long since I’ve posted, and it’s not like I have the excuse of “I’m in a different country”! I have no excuse, SO SORRY! But good news, FALL IS HEEEEEERE!!! I’m a girl that loves her 4 seasons. It gives me a chance to mix things up, which I’ve [...] I have it! Okay, let me explain. My siblings and I (there are five of us) pass around (aka steal from each other) this adidas tee. It was my dad’s in high school or college, so it’s true vintage and the fabric at the perfect worn, uber comfy texture! I forget who I took it [...] I got this little dress at a thrift store. It is very youthful and I love that… who wants to grow up anyway?!? It has great detailing… a floral white pattern under the poka-dots (I am eating my words as I recently said I’m not the biggest fan of poka dots… oops. haha). Below you can [...] I’m not a hug poka dot fan, but they do tend to have that retro 50’s feel…especially with these shades. I got the sunglasses, skirt, belt and scarf thrifting. This morning I am listening to The Knife. They are an electro pop sibling duo from Sweden. They have such a unique sound and i can’t get [...] Today I am featuring my Australian thrift purchase. I got this vintage leather messenger bag from the local Salvos (Salvation Army) for $5 AUS. I wasn’t uber practical in my packing and only brought large awkward sized totes, so this find is justified. haha The bag has so many great compartments and pockets… I am SOOOO stoked [...] just so you know…I have blogged about this dress in a previous entry. I’m just SO EXCITED for fall and I used the dress in a fall outfit, so I had to share! The boots are a recent purchase that I have been wanting for SO LONG! This romper is one of my favorites, found at one of my usual thrift stores I visit, Unique. I’m wearing my Keds that I’m pretty [...] I moved rooms and now I have six beds, a closet and my own bathroom. I bought a large sketch pad and hope to brighten up the white wall a bit. I only packed one pair of jeans and after my luggage fiasco (see below), I had not clean clothes. Not being a “shorts person” I realized I may be converted… I cut off a few part of my jeans in preparation for my time here. While everyone in the states is transitioning into fall I am going into Spring. Spring here is in the 70s & 80s, [...] ruffles ruffles ruffles SO MANY RUFFLES! Let me start by saying that nothing in this outfit is thrifted. I know…shocking. It’s totally rare, but there ARE fun things found at places that aren’t thift stores :) This outfit is all Forever 21 item NOT bought at Forever 21. Pahaha. This is my last post from the good ol’ US of A…. onto to Australia! Grace & Peace! -Polish Today was another gloomy day. I figured I would brighten up somebody’s day, if not just my own, with my bright orange pants (I refuse to call them ‘capris’ merely for the fact that I don’t like that word, so ‘pants’ it is!). They were an accidental find at my favorite thrift store one day [...] The weather can’t make up it’s mind today… sunny, then cloudy, then sunny… Granted that has no bearing on this post, but still… thought I’d share. I’m supposed to finish packing today, but I keep blogging and playing catch up on some design projects. I have the whole night, cha! Once again, squeezin’ in the summer [...] Got to go into DC today! Had an audition for singing in a worship group and couldn’t help but take advantage of the gorgeous evening for walking around and taking some pics. It was just beautiful out. Thankfully I had my handy dandy photographer (whom, in the mean time, shall remain anonymous, just cause!) with [...] Fall may be upon us, but I am still crankin out the summer wardrobe…well, much of my roomies wardrobe. Mine in packed in boxes along with the rest of my life in my living room, minor details. Anyway… I so LOVE this skirt. We found it at a thrift store for $3, it has vintagy [...] This weekend I went to Old Town Alexandria with the fam. There are TONS of cute little boutiques, antique stores and restaurants- great atmosphere. I checked out the Torpedo Factory (I have been wanting to go for a while). It’s an art center, with four levels and many different galleries for artists to show their work. [...] |
