turquoise {accents}

I believe I’ve stated this in recent post, but I’m a BIG fan of BIG earrings. Ok, maybe not BIG BIG earrings, but definately loud, statement, flashy (enough adjectives for ya??) earrings. I like them to make a statement.

The earrings that I sported today were actually from a place called Lake Anne.

Lake Anne is a man made lake that has shops and apartments surrounding it…REALLY pretty! On weekends, vendors come out and set up tents and sell things that they have made….so great! Well I got these earrings at a thrift store at the Lake Anne shopping center. Its kind of like an open plaza, little shops lined up to close it in. Super beautiful. My friend whom I designed wedding invitations for took me there for some coffee, it was so peaceful and a PERFECT place to people watch (one of my favorite things to do).

So yea, I love these earrings.

Tonight I was listening to my “July Fun Mix Baby” mix CD that my really friggin’ awesome friend Carrie made me:) She likes a lot of the same music i do, meaning she has GAH-REAT taste in music (hehehe) and so I wasn’t surprised to find a lot of the bands that I love on the mix. One being Camera Obscura and I actually recall the first song of theirs that I ever fell in love with:  Lloyd, I’m Ready To Be Heartbroken. So soothing and romantic, you will love love love this tune!

I’m off to bed and can’t wait for my FRIDAY! Hanging out with old friend’s and helping Polish prep for her yard sale on Saturday morning.
