I used to ALWAYS wear heels… and now I hardly ever do… maybe because it’s summer. Yeah, that must be it. Well, today I mixed a “anthro” looking skirt with a tee and demin vest. Once again, I pulled up the skirt to make it high-waisted. The funny thing is, the skirt is still past my knees… the beauty of short legs, or not.
I got my heels several years ago, they are not true vintage, but totally look it. I feel like I should be a 1950’s school teacher when I wear them. ha!
Going back to the topic of Anthropologie… I just love that store! They have the most beautiful clothes. I can’t say I shop there, I’m on a tight budget. It’s my favorite place to go for creative inspiration, both for fashion and design. They are one of the few retail stores that put a huge emphasis on the decor and are constantly changing it out. Most of the decor in the store is handmade and from local thrift stores, making each store unique. Design on a dime for sure. My style for home decor often has a similar charm.
Well, I have to go meet some friends for dinner… until tomorrow.

James this is probably one of my favorite outfits of yours :-) truly outdid yourself. I dont think the camerea picked up the colors of the shirt you wore under the vest but it looked great with your eyes
